When it stops, this is what happens.

Service is not what we do after the sale — uptime is the thing we sell, and the equipment is how the relationship starts. Here are the contract tiers, the process, and the numbers we hold ourselves to.

What happens when you call

01

You call

One number, one email. Reference your institution and the instrument.

Logged immediately with a reference number.

02

We triage

An engineer calls back to establish whether this is a settings issue, a consumable issue or a hardware fault. A meaningful share of calls are resolved here.

03

We attend

If it needs hands, an engineer is dispatched with the likely parts already in the vehicle.

04

We repair or escalate

Fixed on site where possible. Where a part is not held locally we tell you the lead time honestly and, where we can, offer a workaround.

05

We verify and document

Performance verification before we leave, and a written service report for your records and your auditors.

Parts

Parts for high-usage instruments are held in Addis Ababa. For everything else we tell you the real lead time at the point of the call, rather than after the order.

Tell us the institution, the instrument and its serial number, and whether it is down or still usable. If a clinical service is affected, say so — those are triaged first.

Questions we get asked

How quickly can an engineer reach us?
Target response in Addis Ababa is 24 hours, Outside Addis, 48-72 hours depending on region and access. We publish targets rather than promises because the road matters.
Do you hold parts in Ethiopia?
Yes, for the highest-volume platforms. For everything else we give you an honest lead time at the point of the call rather than after the order.
Can you service equipment we did not buy from you?
Often, yes — particularly on platforms we already represent. Contact us with the make, model and serial number and we will tell you plainly whether we can support it.
Do you sell to private laboratories as well as hospitals?
Yes. Our client base runs from national referral hospitals and public health institutes to private diagnostic chains and single-site clinics.
What does installation actually include?
Delivery, siting, commissioning, performance verification and operator training. We do not consider an installation complete until your team can run it without us in the room.
How do we get a proforma or a quotation?
Send the model and quantity, or describe the workload you need to cover and we will propose a configuration.
